Go Paperless

You no longer have to receive paper statements in the mail!  Private Passport’s Go Paperless page enables you to go paperless for the following types of accounts:

• Banking Deposit Statements*

• Trust and Investment Management Accounting Statements

• Trust and Investment Management Performance Statements

*Exclusions for banking and loan accounts include IRAs, Notices, accounts for which original checks are returned, and accounts where a statement copy is sent to an alternate address.

Note:  For banking deposit and loan joint accounts where the statement is sent to the same mailing address, when one account owner requests to stop receiving paper statements, the other account owner(s) will automatically stop receiving paper statements, regardless of whether they are Private Passport users.  The other owner(s) will not receive notification that they will no longer receive paper statements.

Regardless of whether you choose to go paperless or not, these statements are available online in Private Passport.  Statements & Documents will be available in Private Passport three to five business days after the statement ending date. You will automatically receive an alert in Private Passport and an email notifying you that an online statement is available. Online statements (as well as important messages included with your statement) are displayed in PDF format, therefore you must have the free Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.

When you choose to go paperless for an account and/or a combined statement, it may take effect beginning with the next statement cycle for the specified account/combined statement.  Likewise, if at any time you choose to reinstate paper, it will take effect beginning with the next statement cycle.  If the next statement cycle date falls on a weekend, the statements are created the Friday before.

Note: If you have gone paperless, and then you do not log into Private Passport at least once within 180 days, you will automatically start receiving paper statements again for your Trust, Investment, and Custody accounts (this does not apply to Banking Deposit accounts).  You will be required to re-accept Terms and Conditions again the next time you go paperless.
