A portlet is a section of related content (text, image, graph, etc) contained within a window. Private Passport is made up of many portlets; each page within the site contains one or more portlets. You have the ability to add and remove portlets to pages, as well as change the location of portlets on the page.
You can perform the following actions to a portlet:
Add - Allows you to add a portlet to a page.
Remove - Allows you to delete a portlet from a page.
Minimize - Collapses the portlet to only show the title bar.
Restore - Expands the portlet to its maximum size.
Edit - Allows you to edit default values and display options for the portlet.
Export - Allows you to export contents of the portlet into excel, notepad or pdf.
Print - Allows you to print contents of the portlet.
Note: Not all portlets will allow all actions. The actions will vary depending on the portlet.
Each page within Private Passport is organized in either a two-thirds / one-third layout, or a full page layout. Examples of portlets include, but are not limited to, Net Worth Summary (two-thirds portlet), Investment Activity (full page portlet), U.S. Top Headlines (one-third portlet).
