Editing user demographics

The Edit Demographics page allows you to create a new user or edit an existing user's demographics.

Before You Begin:
  1. On the Treasury Passport menu, under User Administration, select Users.
    The User List page appears.
  2. To set up a new user, click New.
    OR
    To edit an existing user's demographics, under ID, click a linked user ID.
    The Edit Demographics page appears.

To add a new user:

  1. Enter a new password in the first field (required).
    Note:
    Passwords must be between 6 and 16 characters in length.
  2. Confirm the new password in the second field (required).
  3. Enter the first name (required).
  4. Optionally, enter the middle initial.
  5. Enter the last name (required).
  6. Enter the phone number (required).
  7. Optionally, enter the fax number.
  8. Optionally, enter the following address information:
  9. Enter the primary e-mail (required).
  10. Optionally, add any additional notes about this user.
  11. Click Save.
    A message that user demographics have been saved appears and an ID is assigned.
    Note:
    Click Cancel to not create a new user and return to the User List page.
  12. To add another user, click New, then repeat steps 1-11.

To edit an existing user's demographics:

  1. Update any of the following information:
  2. Click Save.
    A message that user demographics have been saved appears.
    Note:
    Click Cancel to not edit user demographics and return to the User List page.
  3. To add a new user, click New and repeat steps 1-11 in the instructions for adding a new user above.

To delete a user:

  1. Click Delete.
  2. Click OK on the confirmation message.
    Note:
    If you got to this page by clicking New, the Delete button appears after you have saved new user information.
