My Passportfolio®

The My Passportfolio page allows you the ability to add non-Northern Trust online assets and liabilities that you hold with other institutions and service providers to view along side your Northern Trust accounts. The non-Northern Trust accounts you have added are listed in the bottom section of this page. Passportfolio® obtains current balances and historical activity nightly. For the most current information from your service providers, you can click Refresh on the Financial Summary.

The type of data available depends on the type of account. Balances for you're my Passportfolio® accounts appear on the Financial Summary. You can view account information on the Profile page, transactions for these accounts on the History - Transactions page, and holdings on the Assets - Portfolio Holdings page.

On the My Passportfolio page, you can:

To search for online financial institutions and service providers:

  1. You can add non-Northern Trust accounts by first searching for your financial institution or service provider. You must already have an ID and password for online access to your accounts with the selected provider.
  2. Under Financial Summary in the top menu, select Passportfolio®.
  3. Click the My Passportfolio® link or My Passportfolio from the top navigation.
  4. If this is the first time you are using My Passportfolio®, read the Terms and Conditions, then click Continue. Read the Privacy Information, then click Accept. The My Passportfolio® page appears. You can add accounts by selecting or searching for your financial institution or service provider. Once you have added accounts using My Passportfolio, they will appear under Passportfolio Provider & Account Management where you can manage the accounts.
  5. Do one of the following:
    · To list all of the available providers, select a category (banking, brokerage, credit card, loans, mortgage, investments or rewards) and click Go. A list of the providers in that category appears.
    · To search for the name of your financial institution or provider, enter one or more words in the provider name, then click Search. A list of the providers that match your search criteria appears. Notes: If your provider is not listed, click the Don't see your provider? link. Make sure to include the address for the site you would like to add and the type of accounts you would like to view for this provider.
  6. Click the provider name.
    On the next page (Provider Access Information), enter your ID and password for online access to the selected service provider's site.

    Notes:
    If your provider requests additional login information to give you access to your accounts, we will request this information from you. If anytime you have questions about the information we are requesting, please contact the Private Passport Help Center at 888-635-5350.

To remove a Passportfolio® provider:

You can remove Providers added using Passportfolio® at any time. When you remove an provider, all account information, including historical data, is deleted.

  1. On the My Passportfolio page under Passportfolio® Provider & Account Management, locate the provider you want to remove.
  2. Click Remove next to the provider name. The Confirm Remove Provider page appears for you to verify and remove the selected account(s).
  3. Click Verify.

To change or edit your user credentials or other access information for a non-Northern Trust account:

If at anytime your user credentials change at your provider site you must update them in My Passportfolio because the two must match at all times or your accounts will not update with the latest information.

  1. Locate the provider you would like to edit the user credentials for.
  2. Click on the Edit link next to the provider name.
  3. Enter your user credentials and any required access information that your provider is requesting.
  4. Click Update.

To Hide An Account From Your Financial Summary View:

  1. You can hide a My Passportfolio account from your Financial Summary view at any time. When you hide a provider, all account information, including transactional data, is hidden from your view.
  2. Deselect the checkbox next to the account. Note: You must have at least one account per provider selected or the accounts and all associated history will be removed from Private Passport.
  3. Click Update. The page appears for you to verify and remove the selected account(s).
  4. Click Verify.
  5. Locate the account you would like to remove from the Financial Summary. Deselect the checkbox next to the account(s) you would like to remove. Note: you must have at least one account displayed for the provider on the Financial Summary or the entire Provider will be removed.
  6. Click Update at the end of the manage your account section.

    The deselected accounts will display with a lighter color indicating you have successfully removed the account from the Financial Summary.

To Check The Status of your Provider Site Addition Request:

  1. If you have requested to have a provider added to My Passportfolio, you can track the status under the Site Addition Request Status section on My Passportfolio. This section will appear when you request a provider. Note: If you have never requested a provider this section will not show on your My Passportfolio page.
  2. Locate the provider name you have requested to be added. The Request status is displayed.
    Notes:
    If we need you to enter your user credentials to complete development of the site, a link with enter user credentials will appear. Click on the link and follow the instructions on the page. If you entered the incorrect user credentials, a User Action Required message will display Edit Your User Credentials. Other status's that can appear include Site Added, Site can not be added.
