Edit My Watchlist

You can track securities using watchlists on the My Passport page. A watchlist contains the ticker symbols you want to track with the last price and other information you wish to display. Quotes are delayed up to 20 minutes.

To rename a watchlist:

  1. Select the existing section name, and then enter a new name for the watchlist. You can enter up to 20 characters.

To enter symbols to include on the watchlist:

You can add symbols for stocks, options, futures, and market indices.

  1. In the Enter Symbol(s) box, enter the ticker symbol for each security you want to include on the watchlist. Separate symbols with a space.

    Tips:

  2. Repeat step 1 to add up to 50 symbols to the watchlist.
  3. Choose the watchlist format and columns of data to display.
  4. Optionally, click the Sort Alphabetically button to display the symbols in alphabetical order.
  5. Click Save. The My Passport page appears with your updated watchlist.

To sort the symbols alphabetically:

  1. Click the Sort Alphabetically button.

To choose the watchlist format and columns:

  1. Choose the watchlist format: wide or narrow.

    Note: A wide watchlist displays the security symbol and up to five additional columns. A narrow watchlist includes the security symbol and two other columns.

  2. To add a column, click on a column name in the Available list and click the Move to Selected arrow button.
  3. To remove a column, click on the column name in the Selected list and click the Remove from Selected arrow button.
  4. In the Selected columns list, you can use the up and down arrow buttons to order the columns in the watchlist from left to right.

To get to the Edit My Watchlist page:

  1. On the My Passport page, click the Edit button at the top right of the watchlist section.
  2. On the Edit Content page, click the Edit link next to a watchlist.
