Is there a cost for transfers?

There is no charge for transfers initiated using Private Passport. There is no fee for wire transfers initiated using Private Passport. There is also no fee for ACH transfers.

Notes:
  • At this time, wire transfers are available only for clients of The Northern Trust Company (Illinois) and Northern Trust Bank FSB with a banking deposit account. This service will be available to clients in other locations in the future.
  • ACH transfers are available for all clients with a Northern Trust banking deposit account.
  • Wire and ACH transfers are not yet available for trust check writing accounts.
