What is the difference between Passportfolio® online accounts and other accounts?

Online accounts are the accounts you can access using the Internet. Using Passportfolio®'s My Passportfolio service you can access data directly from your your online accounts at other financial institution or service provider. For example, you may be able to access your credit card account on that provider's site. You can view these accounts within Private Passport using Passportfolio®. Once you add an online account, Passportfolio® obtains balances and activity nightly. This does not change how you access your account on the other service provider's web site.

Offline accounts are also accounts or other assets (or liabilities) held by you or with another service provider. These accounts or assets may not be available online, or you may not have set up online access with that provider. You can also use the Other Assets and Liabilities feature of Passportfolio® to add the value for assets or liabilities that cannot be tracked automatically such as artwork, jewelry, and real estate.
