How do I create nicknames to identify my accounts?
Nicknames are custom names you can create to identify your accounts. If you create a nickname, it is used in place of the account title throughout the site.
To create nicknames for one or more of your accounts:- On the Customize
Accounts page, click
the Change how accounts are displayed link.
The Change How Accounts are Displayed page lists your accounts by account number. The Title/Nickname column initially shows the Northern Trust account title. You can edit this to create your own nickname which will be used in place of the account title. - Locate the account for which you want to customize the nickname.
- In the Title/Nickname box for the account, replace the title with the nickname you want to use. You can enter up to 40 characters
- Click .
- Click on the Verify Page.
