Using the Search Engine

Wealth Passport’s dynamic search engine, maintained within Portfolio Explorer, enables you to quickly browse your portfolio information by narrowing the scope of your search with intuitively defined filters that will isolate just the data you wish to see.  You will be able to search 90 calendar day’s worth of historical data.

Initiating a Search

  1. The search engine, located in the left panel in Accounts and Holdings and Transactions, displays the Basic Filters panel as the default.

  2. The search panel can be collapsed by clicking on the arrow.

Basic Filters

The Search box within Basic Filters allows users to search within their portfolio by applying the following filters:

  1. You can view the last search performed in the Current Search box.  Here, you are able to remove filters and start your search over.
  2. The Account drop-down allows users to type or select a specific account to filter by.

Note: Click View more accounts to filter and select additional accounts to view.  In addition, you can select multiple accounts to display in your center panel.

  1. The Consolidations drop-down allows users to select a specific consolidation of accounts such as Family Members, Partnerships, Foundations, etc…

Expanded Filters

Expanded filters allow you to perform a more detailed search.  You can find expanded filters from the Basic Filters panel.

  1. In the upper right corner of the basic search, click the arrow next to More Filters, or click on More Filters.
  2. If you are in the Accounts and Holdings tab, these expanded filter options will open.

Note: An additional filter, Account Data Source, is displayed for internal partners if the client holds Client initiated accounts for Accounts & Holdings only.

Using Filters to Narrow or Expand Your Search

Filters allow you to view just the items you specify for your search, such as a specific holding within a targeted group of accounts, what holdings are in the energy sector or a pending transaction.

  1. Select the filter(s) you would like to use for your search.  Click the arrow to expand your search options.
  2. Click the View results button from the expanded search window to start a search.
  3. The expanded filters will close and return the results in the center panel of whichever tab you are searching from.

Note: Filters do not carry over from Accounts & Holdings to Transactions.  They each have their own separate searches.
