Change ID and Password

Use this page to change your Private Passport ID and Password. If you would like to only change your password you will need to logout and log back into the site with the Change Password box selected.  You will then be prompted to change your password.

Your new ID and Password guidelines:

As always, please keep your ID and password private and secure.

To change your ID and password:

  1. Enter a New ID
  2. Click the Suggest IDs link to choose an ID suggested by Private Passport
  3. Enter a New Password to use with your new ID.

    The password you enter here will be used with your new ID. It may or may not be the same as your existing password.

  4. Enter the New Password to confirm
  5. Click Continue. The Verify Changing Your ID page appears.
  6. Click Submit to change your ID and Password.

    This will end your Private Passport session. The sign on page appears for you to sign on again if you like.

Note:

  • If you use software products like Quicken or Money you will need to update their settings to reflect your new User ID and Password.
  • If you have answered Enhanced Security questions you will need to re-answer these questions.
