What is an e-mail payment?From the Private Passport Bill Payment service, you can send e-mail payments or receive them from anyone with an e-mail address and a U.S. bank account. E-mail payments are electronically withdrawn from your bill payment account and deposited into the recipient's account. If the person you want to send an e-mail payment to is not using an e-mail payments service, you can invite him or her to enroll in E-Mail Payments when you send your payment. To make an e-mail payment, access the Private Passport Bill Payment, then go to Make Payments and select the Make E-Mail Payments option.
