How can I stop receiving an alert?

If you no longer want to receive it, you can permanently delete any alert that you have set up. Or, you can temporarily disable a custom alert by putting it on hold. You will not receive that type of alert until you take it off hold.

Note: You cannot delete or put a system alert on hold.

To put an alert on hold:

  1. Click the Edit link in the Alert section (at the top of the left frame). The My Alerts page appears.

  2. Click the Edit link next to the alert you would like to put on hold.

  3. Under On Hold, select the "Do not send this alert" option.

  4. Click Save.

To permanently delete an alert:

  1. Click the Edit link in the Alert section (at the top of the left frame). The My Alerts page appears.

  2. Select the Delete box for each alert you want to delete. You can click the Delete All link to mark all alerts for deletion.

  3. Click OK. The Verify Changes page appears.

  4. To save your changes, click OK.
