Why would a transfer fail?

A transfer will fail if the "From" account has insufficient funds to complete the transfer.

In addition, a future or recurring transfer will fail if one of the accounts in the transfer has been closed or if one of the accounts has instructions to not allow transfers.

You will automatically receive a system alert notifying you of a failed transfer. This alert is always sent to your Alerts & Messages Center. You can also choose to have it sent to one or more of your own personal e-mail addresses.
