Reverse Payment

The Reverse Payment function allows you to stop an outstanding check or request a Deposit to be returned. When a check is stopped or an ACH is returned, money is redeposited back to the client's account. Reverse Payment adjusts the participant's history to remove the payment selected.
Guidelines:
  • Reverse payments for outstanding checks requested before the daily deadline will redeposit the gross amount of the payment back to the client's account the next business day.
  • Reverse payments for deposit items will be returned as items are accepted by receiving banking institutions.
  • A Reverse payment initiated after March 15th on a prior year check/deposit will return all funds except any tax withholding (Unrecoverable Deductions) to the client's trust account.
