Applying Attributes

Through Wealth Passport's Attributes section, you can group accounts by characteristics that are meaningful to you.  You may create up to five attributes then manually assign unlimited "values" and accounts to each.

Accessing Attributes

The Attributes section can be found under the Account Utilities tab.

  1. Hover over the Account Utilities tab on the main navigation bar.  

  2. Click the Attributes link in the drop- down menu.

How to Create an Attribute

  1. Under the Account Utilities tab, select Attributes to open the Attributes page.

  2. Define an attribute's name by selecting or clicking the Pencil (edit) icon.  (Any attribute that has not been named defaults to "Undefined").

  3. Type a name in the Edit Attribute box.

  4. Click Save.

Editing Attributes

  1. Click on the Pencil button.

  2. Edit name in the Edit Attribute box.

  3. Click Save.

Deleting Attributes

  1. Click the X button.

  2. Confirm deletion by clicking the Delete button.

Note:

Deleting an attribute will also delete the underlying values assigned to the attribute and will no longer have accounts associated with those values.

 

Adding Values

  1. You will be able to add unlimited values to each of your five attributes.

  2. Click the Add Value button below the specific attribute to which you wish to add values.

  3. Add a value in the Value Label box.

  4. Click Add button.

  5. Click Save button when you have finished adding your values.

Editing Values

  1. Click the Pencil button next to the value you wish to edit.

  2. Edit the value in the Edit Value box.

  3. Click Save.

Deleting Values

  1. Click the X button next to the value you wish to delete.

  2. Confirm deletion by clicking the Delete button.

Assign Accounts to Attribute Values

  1. Highlight a value to enable the Assign Attributes button.

  2. Click the Assign Attributes button.

  3. Check the checkbox beside the account(s) that you wish to assign.  

  4. Use the account filters to narrow the account list if needed.

  5. Choose the value you wish to assign the account(s) to by clicking the Assign selected accounts to drop-down box.

  6. Click the Assign button to save your changes.

  7. Click the Close button when you are done assigning accounts to attribute values.
