There are three options available to view encrypted message:
PGP Web Messenger |
If you are an individual who sends and receives e-mail web mail service provider (like Yahoo, Hotmail, Google, etc.) select PGP Web Messenger. You will receive, send, and store messages in the PGP mailbox. This option is easy to implement and can be used immediately. There are some storage and retention limitations with this option. Refer to start using PGP Web Messenger to get started using this option. |
PGP Universal Satellite |
If you are an individual who sends and receives e-mail using a stand-alone e-mail package (like Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, etc) or you are a corporate user who is allowed to download software directly to your desktop, select PGP Universal Satellite. Using this option you will receive, send, and store messages in your own mailbox. This is a simple solution once installed without the limitations noted above. Refer to install PGP Universal Satellite to get started using this option. |
PGP Desktop or S/MIME |
If you are a corporate user working on a secure network and you know that your company already uses PGP Desktop or you know you have an S/MIME certificate, select PGP Desktop or S/MIME. You will receive, send, and store messages in your corporate mailbox. This option is easy if you already use PGP. If you use S/MIME you will need to upload your certificate. Refer to using PGP key or S/MIME certificate to get started using this option. |
|
If you are a corporate user not allowed to download software and you do not know your corporate secure e-mail solution, please provide us with a contact in your technology area with whom we will work to determine the best course of action. In the interim you can choose the PGP Web Messenger solution to be up and running immediately |
