When will an ACH transfer be debited from my account?When you initiate an ACH transfer to another financial institution using Private Passport, the amount of the transfer is memo posted to your Northern Trust account. On the requested transfer date, or settlement date, the amount is debited from your account. For recurring ACH transfers or those scheduled for more than two days in the future, the transfer amount is memo-posted two business days before the settlement date. When you initiate an ACH credit, your account balance is updated on the settlement date.
